Corporate Training Packages
The below training packages are a snapshot of what we can offer to give you an idea of topics and duration. Topics are approached with a critical lens which challenges assumptions and bias.

Essentials Range
Companies, schools, charities, and groups who have minimal knowledge of the subjects offered. A good base to start the conversation on all things neurodiversity. All training packages in the Essentials Range have a key focus on active engagement with participants. Packages include:
1. What is Autism & ADHD? (2 hours)
● An introduction to both diagnoses, including medical definitions and criteria
● A foundation on neuro-affirmative reality of living as autistic and/or ADHD
● The intersect of identities
2. What is Neurodiversity? (2 hours)
● An introduction to defining and understanding neurodiversity
● An insight into some of the most common neurodivergent diagnoses
● Challenges facing neurodivergent people
● A broad sweep across the concept of neurodiversity rather than focusing on one or two individual diagnoses in detail
3. Equality and Diversity (2 hours)
● An introduction to concepts behind equality and diversity and why this is important to all
● An introduction to a society-based simple model for thinking about differences in ourselves and others
● A guided group reflective exercise for thinking about differences and how these impact your organisation
4. Sensory Differences (2 hours)
● An introduction to the senses and how these may differ, including neurodiversity populations
● How these differences may impact on mental health and wellbeing
● How these difference impact on individuals on an everyday basis
Intermediate Range
Companies, schools, charities, and groups who want to have a deeper understanding of the subject. Most training packages include a basic introduction to the subject, so The Essentials Range does not need to be completed separately. All training packages in the Intermediate Range have a strong emphasis on reflective practice and group discussions. Packages include:
1. Neurodiversity and Neuro-affirmative practice (4 hours)
● Introduction to the concept of neurodiversity, including challenging bias and myths
● The origins and meaning of the neuro-affirmative movement
● Why is neuro-affirmative practice beneficial?
● An introduction on ways to embed neuro-affirmative practice into your organisation
2. Neurodivergent Burnout (4 hours)
● Introduction to the concept of neurodiversity, including challenging bias and myths
● Common difficulties found in neurodiverse individuals
● Neurodivergent burnout and why this is important to consider in your organisation
● An introduction on how to prevent and support recovery from burnout
3. How to support Neurodivergent Staff/Young People (4 hours)
● Introduction to the concept of neurodiversity, including challenging bias and myths
● Common difficulties found in neurodiverse individuals
● Difficulties within both the workplace and for those you support, no matter the nature of your organisation
● How to support neurodivergent people
4. Sensory differences and supporting them (4 hours)
● An introduction to sensory differences, especially in neurodivergent people, challenging bias and myths
● How these differences may impact on mental health and wellbeing
● Sensory profiles and the sensory ‘diet’
● How to make settings inclusive for those with sensory differences

All training packages will be delivered using Microsoft PowerPoint; hosting organisations are responsible for sourcing a projector or appropriate screen. All hard copies of training materials shall be provided by Wellcare Health and are included in the fee. All courses are delivered by a highly experienced neurodivergent Doctor of Clinical Psychology.
