Our Unique Perspective
All therapy at Wellcare Health is delivered by Clinical Psychologists. Uniquely, our clinicians are also neurodivergent, combining high-level professional expertise with genuine lived experience. We don’t just understand the theory; we understand the reality.

How We Can Help
Whether your challenges feel recent or long-standing,
we provide support for:
-
Mood & Anxiety: Depression, chronic worry, and stress.
-
Neurodivergent Support: Navigating burnout and post-diagnosis life.
-
Identity: Exploring gender, sexuality, and self-esteem.
-
Life & Relationships: Transitions, emotional regulation, and family dynamics.
Not sure if you’re ready? That’s okay.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, and it is completely normal to feel uncertain or "on the fence." You don’t need to have all the answers - or even a clear goal - before you reach out.
We offer a non-pressured environment where you can simply explore what’s on your mind. Our initial appointment is a collaborative space to see if therapy feels right for you at this time. There is no obligation to continue, and our priority is ensuring you find the support that best fits your needs, whether that is with us or elsewhere.

Our Approach
We don’t believe in "one size fits all."
We integrate a range of evidence-based models to suit your specific goals, such as:
-
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
-
CFT (Compassion-Focussed Therapy)

Inclusive, Affirming & Identity-Aware Therapy
At Wellcare Health, your identity is respected, not just "managed." We provide a safe, high-trust environment for individuals whose experiences are often misunderstood by traditional clinical settings. We offer specialised, affirmative support for:
-
Neurodivergent Communities: Including Autistic people, those with ADHD, and individuals navigating neurodivergent burnout or late-discovery identity.
-
LGBTQ+ & Gender Diverse Individuals: Providing identity-affirming therapy that understands the nuances of sexuality, gender identity, and transition.
-
Diverse Cultural & Ethnic Backgrounds: Offering culturally sensitive care that recognises how heritage and environment shape our mental health.
-
Alternative Life Contexts: We welcome individuals from all socioeconomic backgrounds and life structures, grounded in curiosity and respect.

4 Steps to Starting Therapy
Get in touch with us here.
You don't need to have all the answers yet; just a short note to say you’re looking for support is the perfect start.
1. Reach out
Secure your session with easy digital payment and forms.
To keep our sessions focused on you, we handle the admin and payment digitally in advance. This means when we meet, we can get straight to what matters most.
2. The practicals
A no-pressure session to see if we are the right fit.
Our first meeting is a low-pressure chance to talk through what’s on your mind and see if you feel comfortable. It’s a collaborative conversation, not a clinical assessment.
3. Space to explore
Agree on a frequency (weekly or fortnightly) that works for you.
The choice to continue is always yours. If you move forward, we’ll agree on a pace and frequency that feels sustainable and supportive for your life.
4. Your path

"We know that reaching out for help is often the hardest part of the journey. If you’re feeling nervous about your first session, please know that you are not alone in that feeling. We work at your pace, and we are here to support you from the very first hello."
